 How to buy
If you would like to purchase 50 Mill Isk or more in shares
1) Post in this thread stating how many shares you would like
2) Transfer the Isk according to a. and b. below
a) If it is an individual, transfer the Isk to ôEFS Managerö
b) If it is a corp, have the corp transfer the Isk to ôEve Financial Servicesö 3.EFS Manager will normally check the wallet within 24 hours and transfer the shares to either the person who sent the Isk or the corp that bought the shares.
If you would like to purchase less than 50 Mill Isk in shares
It may take a day or so to have EFS [FIN] Listed with the EGSE
1) Contact any EGSE broker (a list of brokers can be found here) who will facilitate the transfer of shares.
2) The EGSE broker will charge a transaction fee of about 1.5%.
3) EFS will not be liable for anything to do with a share purchase when buying through the EGSE. They have proven trustworthy in the past, but their actions are outside of our control.

I understand your scepticism here, but I encourage you to do some investigation here as to who Eefrit, Femintaki and EMFi Auditor are. If you still feel that they are all my alts, then this is not something you should invest in. I am however Eefrits alt, in case u missed the second post.

Wouldn't be the first scam with well known alts. I mean ok, lets say you ARE legitiment, I would have to be a fool to invest in your corp unless i knew you IRL, or had some other guarentee. Legit or not "my vote", you'd have to be a fool to invest it. Especially considering 1 person could probebly invest better then 4% in no matter what the situation.
If you don't feel secure then don't invest. However I would encourage you to take this discussion over to the "maket discussion" forum, as the GM's are likely to clean this off the sales forum.
That said, if you read the business plan carefully, you will see that 4% is the guaranteed minimum return, compared to all other IPOs that have a NO (real) guaranteed return. We do not expect to pay 4%, and this is once again clearly laid out in the business plan.
Still, if you are not sure this is not a scam, please do not invest.

No problem with questions. Were were all noobs once.
1) If you transfer Isk to me, I then transfer shares to you. There is currently no way to transfer shares like we do for other items in escrow.
2) You will have shares in your wallet under "shares" and monthly when dividends are paid, the Isk appears in your wallet as long as you still have the shares.
3) Currently you can't (in theory) buy more than about 117 Billion Isk in shares but we are only releasing a limited amount onto the market (30 Billion Isk worth) at the moment.

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to the 4% minimum return given here. It does not mean that the dividends will only be 4% but rather than they will never be less than 4%. This is to protect investors from situations that have happened with many IPOs thus far where people are given examples of 8-10% and then get 1-2% and sometimes much less.
The whole structure of this investment is that it is secure in every way we could think of:
1) Secure against scamming by myself
2) Secure against suddenly getting no return
3) Secure against having your shares lock up when you want to get them out again
The only real risk is if EMFi Auditor and Femintaki decide that they want to run off with the surety, which I believe is non-existent otherwise I would NEVER have given them 150 Bill Isk in assets as surety if I fail to uphold my end of the bargain.

One question. I get the odd feeling that this is being used as someone's end project in university for a business degree or something, which would be a very nice idea if it were true. Is it?
Interesting question...
Not really but it is being used for non-eve purposes. I invest for a living in real life and am planning on doing a MBA in the next year or two, with my ideal project being an analysis of the Eve economy and how it mirrors the real world economy. So I am keeping careful records of this and may or may not use it as part of that.

News:
1) Eve Financial Service (EFS) is now listed with the EGSE, so smaller investors will be able to purchase shares from them in quantites less than 50 Mill Isk worth.
2) We expect to have phase two launched in a couple of days time. The backorders are well into the Billions so if you want to get bonds this time around, I strongly suggest you reserve them in this thread. Reserving bonds does not cost anything.
I would like to thank EMFi, Femintaki and Hexxx for their advice, analysis and feedback on the EFS business plan, without which this would not have been possible.

I'm not sure exactly how many will be available as it depends on how much capital is needed for furthur investments.
However they will almost certainly be at the same price as phase 1 which was 10,000 Isk each.

If there was no production underway, then what you were saying would be true. The fact is that there is a well organised production system going, which you can confirm with EMFi or Femintaki.
The reason there has not been a second public offering is that I am holding off until all the Isk invested is working. Only after that will any future shares be released for the exact reasons that you brought up.
I have been in negotiations for a few days regarding investments and they are likely to be finalised pretty soon.

As per the agreement, due to possible RL problems Eve Financial Services [FIN] has paid dividends early.
The dividends were paid at 6% as expected from the business plan.
The payments had to be made in 4 parts due to a limit on total dividends that can be paid at a time (hopefully CCP will fix it soon).

Similar questions seem to have come up in the EGSEX channel, so I'll answer what I can here.
1) No, I will not release profit figures etc. The whole point of the structure is that assets cover the capital so that I do not have to do this. I'll be happy to report figures etc IF I do not have to put up assets to cover the investment, which at the moment covers it by something like 500%.
2) What I can tell you is that the first months dividends were paid out from my personal production profit. I have been producing for the last 10 months or so, and this was allocated before hand and written off as an "advertising expense" to help the bonds move. Turns out it was not needed, but I had comitted to it before hand in private with EMFi and felt it would not be ethical to change my mind based on the demand. Essentially, invested capital was NOT used to pay dividends as in a Ponzi scheme.

There is something that I would like to comment on before it becomes a major issue here, and that is the war between BoB and ASCN.
I need to be clear that Eve Financial Services [FIN] is a civilian enterprise and is not linked to BoB financially at all. Yes my main is in BoB, but he mines insane amounts of crokite to support all his spending habbits and does not benefit directly from Eve Financial Services.
My standpoint on the war is that it will be good for business as more kit gets blown up, and hopefully that will drive profits a little higher.
The outcome of the war (whichever way it goes) will not affect the running of FIN in any way, as it is not directly effected by who controls what space in 0.0.
I wish all pilots in the war good luck, and may it be a memorable, challenging and rewarding experience to all... especially us producers

Also please note that you can now buy shares from EGSE as well for amounts smaller than 50 Mill Isk at a time.

I've had a few questions regarding what the actualy percentage interest is based on, so I thought I would give a short explanation here in as simple a way as I can.
My current BPO production will produce profit for myself, and the profit for that will not go towards the return paid to investors (unless it is needed to keep the minimum interest payment).
The actual interest paid will be based on the return achieved on the new BPOs and investments that the invested isk is used for. So as long as the market does not crash we expect to keep paying about the same rate that we have been so far - that is 6% per month.
I hope this clears it up.

The teeny weeny payment was me testing that the dividend system was working correctly, as the number of shares was showing incorrectly under the corp info.

TBH im usualy a good judge of character. Seeing I have talk to you even before you started this you were a good and honest mate. This is why i got involved in this venture well that and to make some isk  .

As I stated in the business plan, i am not going to reveal the exact BPOs to the public for security reasons. However both trustees (EMFi Auditor and Femintaki) are fully aware of what they are and agree with their values.

Well, if you look at the requirements for getting limited run, "very inefficient", bpcs you will see that it is unlikely to have a huge impact on most T2 BPOs. I'm sure it will effect some of them like Cap Recharger IIs and Hulks, but for most of them I do not forsee this as a major problem.
That said, the Isk raised is not being invested in any BPOs that fall under the high risk of invention effecting list. I do not believe it will have a big impact, but that is speculative, with CCP being the only ones really able to give any accurate prediction to this.

The EFS corp has nothing in it at all. No assets (other than shares to sell) and not activity. That all happens in the Trust.
As per the shareholders agreement, as long as the collateral is enough to cover at least 120% of issued bonds and we pay interest as per the agreement, internal corp details are confidential.
Right now the total asset value is (according to me and not official) over 200 bill Isk, which EMFi and Femintaki can confirm. Outside of that, I am not giving accounting details such as assets and liabilities etc. etc. which was clearly stated in the shareholders agreement.
If you have any questions on points in there feel free to ask them.

We will not freeze the sale of bonds this month, BUT will be freezing the transfer of bonds bought directly from Eve Financial Services until after the Dividend payment at the end of the month.

FIN Bonds were designed as long term investment for the average player. It appears that some people have been trying to speculate with it and sell them for overpriced amounts to players who will then effectively get a very diminished return.
In that regard, we are looking to re-open sales and keep them open but use a modified aproach to the selling price from next month.
Sales will likely open again before the dividend payment to prevent the situation described above.

As a more workable solution to people buying just before the dividend is due, we would instead like to pay dividends twice a month instead of once a month. The total dividend for the month will be split into the two payments.
A vote has been created to this effect and will be open for 2 days.
This will NOT effect this months dividend payment!
I would like to suggest that investors vote for the twice a month option, which I'm sure will be well recieved.

We have reopened the release of FIN bonds after paying out 6% once again for the month of October.
There are three changes you should be aware of.
1) The dividend may now be split over two payments during the month, with the total payment for the month keeping to the previous agreements. The only effect will be that investors get some of their Isk early.
2) We now accept sales of 10 Mill Isk as a minimum and not 50 Mill Isk as was the case before.
3) We no longer sell bonds directly through EGSE due to the admin overhead this created. You may still buy bonds from EGSE but they will be shares being sold by private investors.

To answer a previous question, your bonds hold value at a minimum of 95% of their purchase price, as we will buy back bonds at that price upon request as long as the seller follows the guidelines in the shareholders agreement.
So with your capital secure, you still get an income of currently 6% but guaranteed minimum of 4% per month.

That is a bit of a strange question, as the bonds retain their value, so you are never really not going to break even.
If you mean how long will it take to double your money:
17 months if you do not re-invest (at current rates)

If I run off with the money I will loose more than double that amount in my own personal T2 BPOs which are being held as collateral by EMFi and Femintaki.
As an example, the most I could run off with at the moment is about 40 Bill Isk, but if I did that EMFi and Femintaki would sell off by BPOs to pay back investors. The only person to really loose would be myself.
This will always apply as the assets held as surety will always exceed the invested Isk by at least 120%. Right now this is closer to 350% security.

And our total payment always exceeds this, so unfortunatly divideds will always be in multi part untill CCP sort the divided system out.

Bonds are 10,000 Isk each, so 10 Mill would get you 1,000 bonds. We are currently paying 6% per month (which may be split over the month into two 3% payments) which would get you 600,000 Isk per month in interest.
You need to send the Isk to EFS Manager and post here, although you do not need to post the amount (but it is nice if you do).

Essentially, yes we will buy back at 95% of their original value BUT it will take you about 2-3 weeks to get this to happen.
If you want to speculate or buy for a short time I suggest that you look at one of the other investment options. FIN is geared to long term consistent growth for investors, not speculators.

I can not say when all the current Bonds will be sold off, but we have currently sold 82.53% of the available bonds, and I would guess the rest would be sold of in about 2 weeks.
We will very likely create more bonds as the collateral in lockdown is now massively more than what it originally was. We will still of course keep to the rule than security must equal 120% of the invested capital.

Whether this happens or not I will not committ to, but I do think it likely that it will. I have always been clear that I do not expect (or want for that matter) the bond value to climb due to low supply as that would mean that whoever buys will then be getting a poorer return on investment and they guarantees will not really be true guarantees for them.
FIN was always intended to be a solid investment that the "small guy" could get in on to get a good return on their Isk and NOT a speculative investment were a few people buy them early and then sell them for amounts that are completely disproportionate to their yield.

I'm afraid it is an 11 page document, so giving the full explanation is rather difficult in a few lines. If you evemail me your email address I can email it to you.
Basically (VERY short version):
1) FIN pays a variable interest every month on bonds (similar to shares without voting power).
2) The interest is guaranteed minimum of 4%, but the lowest we have ever paid is 6%. This month it is expected to be 7%.
3) The total investment is secured by 120% of the invested amount held in trust by EMFi Manager and Femintaki.
basically I can't scam or I will loose more than I would make scamming, and you have a guaranteed minimum payment.

6) This corporation seems highly leveraged. The initial investment is used to buy more BPO's which increases the capital of the business allowing you to borrow more money to buy more BPO's. Basically like real estate investing. The principals can easly make money as each purchase of new capital increases the amount that can be borrowed. (Lets say that 120 isk is put up for security for a loan of 100 isk. You use that 100 isk to buy a bpo. You know have collateral of 220 isk i.e. 120% of 183. This is 83 isk more than the initial authorized amount of 100 isk. Reinvest 40 isk in more BPO's and keep the other 40 ISK for yourself for a 33% profit on investment, rinse, repeat until diminishing returns makes the business model no longer viable. At which point the exit strategy would come into play, flood the market with cheap BPO's and the hole thing goes boom).
In short um it would be nice to know you were actually making something and that the trust was secured against the diversified assets of the going concern and not just the BPO's.
1) You are free to check with the trustees if I am renting BP's to a third part or who they are being sold to. Everything is open market.
2) There is no formula because these are not shares. They are bonds, and as such owning them does not make FIN answerable to you. If you have concerns regarding where the Isk to pay dividends is coming from, I suggest you ask the trustees.
3) If for some reason I can not continue with this, the BPOs will be sold off to cover investors. The values used for surety are not hopeful figures but rather based mostly on existing offers that I have.
5) If bonds are secured to 120% of value it does not matter what they are secured against. You do not have a right to the business itself, which is 100% owned my myself. Essentially a Bond means that you have loaned Isk to the business (FIN) in return for interest secured against fixed property.
6) The leveraging of the corp is never more than 83% (120% security) and in practice has yet to exceed 60% (167% security). This was stated as a criteris right from the start and has never changed. If you think 120% security as a worst case is too risky for you then I suggest you invest your Isk elsewhere.
In summary, yes we are making plenty, but don't take my word for it. Feel free to ask Dark Shikari, Femintaki and EMFi Manager if we are or not. On your point of diversified assets, I think you are missing the fact that the BPOs make up more than 99% of the corp assets.
We are now as we always have been, sticking to the agreement in the original business plan and proposal to the letter. If you do not like the business plan for some reason, then please invest your Isk elsewhere.

I am pleased to announce that FIN has once again met our targets and has paid out the first part of a 7% dividend for December.
The total that has been paid out thus far in dividends is 16,166,926,700 Isk
I will be leaving for my Christmas holidays with family on Tuesday and will only be back home in mid January. However I have organised for everything to run as per usual in my absence, the only possible difference will be that it may take a few days for me to transfer bonds. However all bonds WILL be transferred to investors before any dividends.
